Chrissy + Ben

It was one of those July nights in New England where the sun feels like it'll never go down. The bugs are buzzing and everything including your eyelids are sweating. The mosquitos have ruined your life, bites in the worst places, all over your toes and ankles, through your clothes and into your hair. But it's all okay, because summer is fleeting, and Chrissy + Ben give you a frosty cocktail and we frolic around in the yard and the garden and the seaside shed straight outta Moonrise Kingdom. We effortlessly snap gorgeous pics and they offer me a cold slice of watermelon and a bag of lettuce they grew. Can't wait to watch these two get hitched at this very location, their families' summer cottage.

Jake Rojas + James Wayman | Dinner on the Farm

Love can manifest in many forms, chief amongst them for me...is through food. Beautiful, thoughtful food, and the journey it takes to get to your plate is one of my favorite things to photograph, and luckily I get to work with an incredible group of people (that I now call family) in telling that story. Their three restaurants, their farm, and their talented team have changed the food community and culture in Southeastern, CT, and it's my job to tell the world. I've been to the farms and gotten to know the farmers we source from. The stories there are as beautiful and unique as the product they grow. It's been my privilege to document those stories, and the celebrations that result when chefs and friends come together.

April + Adam

Empty house, paint cans on the floor, beer in hand, sun sinking low on their waterfront dock...doesn't get much better than that. We were fast friends and I couldn't be happier to have shot so much with these two. We've shot branding pics for their razor company...I forced April to pose as a bride for a styled shoot (she was a giant baby about it and then shocker...she crushed it)...they asked me to shoot their wedding...and we shot these beauties at their first home together. My favorite shoots are the ones with people who boo-hoo about how awkward they are...and then they end up looking like this:

Christina + Tommy

Chrissy and I met a million years ago when we both dated Rhode Island surfer boys. We all went to Maui and she made me the most gorgeous surfer girl earrings I'd ever seen and that meant we'd be friends forever. Years went by without seeing each other and before I knew it, she was asking me to shoot her wedding. I could not have been happier to be a part of this tree farm perfection...I mean...the dreamiest, densest greens as far as the eye can see. And to see her marry someone who so clearly cherishes her in every way, makes it all even dreamier. Love this and them.
